Description:

De Stichting Bridge the Gap is een ‘hazenlippenteam’. ‘Het plan’ is eenvoudig: leer de Laotiaanse collega’s van het ‘Mahosot Hospital’ (het academische ziekenhuis, verantwoordelijk voor heel Laos) operatietechnieken om de enorme aantallen onbehandelde hazenlip (=schisis)-patiënten te behandelen. De behandeling van de allerarmste kinderen in Laos met schisis of NOMA en het verbeteren van de gezondheidszorg en de scholing van artsen en tandartsen. Het verlenen van technische en materiële ondersteuning ten behoeve van operatie en behandeling van schisis-patiënten en overlevenden van NOMA, de training en nascholing van artsen en tandartsen. http://www.stichtingbridgethegap.nl/website/
